In some editions, a Adagio second movement of solo violin and basso continuo precedes the closing Allegro, as recorded by Arthur Grumiaux on EMI.
In other cases, it is either ommited as it is in the arrangement by Merle J. Isaac, or a short cadencial section of two chords connects the two fast movements, as is with the Peters edition.
